溶解性：易溶于水，并水解为次氯酸，溶液呈弱酸性。
注意：本品不易燃，但它为强氧化剂和强氯化剂。当遇水或受潮时，能与水发生化学反应，并放出大量的热，此反应热如不能及时移出，将放出二氯自燃着火。
